Season 2 of this JTBC drama, which was popular two years ago, is confirmed to premiere in July

JTBC’s new Saturday-Sunday drama “The Good Detective 2” marked the beginning of a new season.

“The Good Detective” is a drama full of plot twists about model detectives of the Violent 2nd team who faced the ugly desire of evil people to find the final truth.

Season 1 ended in August 2020 with a viewer rating of 8.5% (provided by Nielsen Korea, based on the metropolitan area of paid households), recording more than twice as much as the first episode. At that time, “The Good Detective” received favorable reviews for its well-made plot which captured the stories of the characters in depth.

In the first teaser video released on July 1st is the 2nd team of the Incheon Western Police Station. Do-chang encouraged his team members in a loud voice, saying, “Young police officers, the country believes in you.“

Season 2 has finished filming last May and will premiere at 10:30 p.m. on July 30th.
