Girl group aespa guested on MBC’s entertainment program “Omniscient Interfering View” on July 2nd ahead of their upcoming comeback.

Karina, who showed up at the studio as a panelist, said, “It depends on my condition but when I feel like eating, I really eat a lot”, mentioning her eating habit.

When Yang Se-hyung asked, “How many packs of ramen do you often eat?”, Karina replied, “I can finish 3 packs of spicy ramen by myself. While eating the first two packs, I cook another one”. 

As Song Ga-in got surprised when she heard the story, Karina said, “My stomach is large”.

After the broadcast, netizens commented, “Aren’t idols often scripted to say that they eat 3 packs of ramen?”, “I think that’s possible since they practice a lot”, “Mimi once appeared on Na Young-seok PD’s entertainment show and said that she didn’t gain weight even when she ate two packs of ramen and two triangle kimbaps during her trainee days”, “Is this something to argue about?”, etc.

Meanwhile, Karina’s group aespa is scheduled to make a comeback with their second mini-album “Girls” on July 8th.
