SBS’ “Why Her”, which used to receive compliments, started polarizing due to Seo Hyun-jin X Hwang In-youp’s love line

“Why Her”, which was highly praised for its solid development, began to show a decline in ratings.

Episode 10 of SBS’ drama “Why Her“, which aired on July 2nd, recorded 7.4% nationwide and 7.5% in the metropolitan area (based on Nielsen Korea).

It was 0.7% lower than episode 9’s rating (8.7%). It drew attention by dropping 2.7% compared to episode 4’s rating (10.1% – the drama’s highest rating).

Starring Seo Hyun-jin, Hwang In-youp, Huh Joon-ho and Bae In-hyuk, “Why Her” depicts the painful but exciting story of Oh Soo-jae (Seo Hyun-jin), a cold lawyer who has become empty while pursuing only success, and Gong Chan (Hwang In-youp), a law school student who is not afraid of anything to protect her.

In this work, as a charismatic yet strong lawyer, Seo Hyun-jin received favorable reviews for her unique acting that she had never shown before.

Seo Hyun-jin and Huh Joon-ho, who are engaged in a tight battle inside the law’s fence, also gave thrills and excitement, leading the rise in ratings.

However, as Seo Hyun-jin started to draw a love line with Hwang In-youp, her junior in the drama, viewers began to present mixed reactions.

The reason was that the talented lawyer Seo Hyun-jin became a person who could not do anything in front of Hwang In-youp, causing frustration.

Viewers showed opinions such as “It’s a pity that it’s fun to solve the case with Seo Hyun-jin’s ability”, “To be honest, the love line is out of the blue“…

On the other hand, some responded favorably to the romance. They said it was great that Seo Hyun-jin and Hwang In-youp, who confirmed each other’s feelings, shared a kiss and inspired a warm atmosphere into the stiff mystery legal work.

While viewers’ likes and dislikes are clearly divided, attention is being paid to what kind of performance “Why Her” will show in the future.
