A video titled “First Reveal: 2NE1’s Sandara Park-Why Did She End Up in Kim Sook’s Line Anyway…?” was recently uploaded to the YouTube channel Vivo TV . During the episode, Sandara Park engaged in an honest conversation about financial planning and investments.
In the video, a fan asked, “How do you manage your assets? Your close friend Hwangbo made headlines for saving 100,000 won a month how much do you put into savings?” In response, Sandara Park admitted, “I don’t do savings accounts. I don’t really know about that. I’ve never tried putting money away monthly. I lived without thinking about it.”
However, she added that she has recently begun exploring new financial avenues, saying, “Lately, I’ve started investing a little.” Her comment immediately drew attention from the hosts.
At the mention of “investment,” Kim Sook jokingly recalled, “Song Eun-yi once said she invested in an artificial liver project 20 years ago. She said it would be a huge success, but it’s probably still in development.” Her remark sparked laughter on set.

Song Eun-yi chimed in playfully, saying, “You might’ve made more money just saving 100,000 won a month,” while Kim Sook added, “Don’t underestimate Hwangbo. She’ll be cashing in those savings soon.”
Meanwhile, Sandara Park previously made headlines after reports from a Hong Kong media outlet claimed she possessed assets worth approximately 35.1 billion won. Addressing the rumors later on KBS2’s Problem Child in House, she clarified, “If you think about it, I probably did earn around 30 billion won. But I had to split it with the company and members, and I paid taxes.”
She went on to explain, “I shopped like crazy, so I couldn’t buy a building. These days, I think I would’ve bought real estate if I hadn’t spent so much on shopping. I don’t have 30 billion won, I have 3 million won.” Her honest explanation resonated with viewers and added a humorous yet relatable twist to the long-standing rumors surrounding her wealth.
