Sandara Park Reveals Weight Management at 38-39kg: Binging on Apples and Bananas

Sandara Park discusses her weight management struggles, including her current weight of 38-39kg.

On July 14th, a video featuring Sandara Park was released on YouTube channel “Pungja Loves Alcohol”.

Sandara Park apologized, “I’m sorry for the unfortunate timing. I’m at the most important stage of my life. My first mini-album is coming out. I sampled the song ‘FESTIVAL’ by my role model, Uhm Jung Hwa.”

The production team prepared protein-based food and non-alcoholic beverages for Sandara Park’s diet. Sandara Park said, “I’m managing my weight. I’m so hungry lately that I feel like I could chew on rocks.”

Sandara Park said, “My weight is the same. But these days, because I’m going through a hard time, people say I look even skinnier. It’s around 38-39kg. I was 39kg until yesterday, but after practicing until dawn and sleeping, I weighed 38kg.

Hearing this, the Pungja joked, “I lost 39kg last year,” making Sandara Park laugh.

Pungja also mentioned a photo of Sandara Park’s abs on her Instagram. To this, Sandara Park said, “It’s true. I didn’t edit it. I’ve had abs since 2014. These days, I’m exercising for mature and sexy abs.” She continued, “It seems like fans want a sexy concept more than I do, but in reality, isn’t it enough for my boyfriend to see the sexy side?” Pungja asked, “I thought you don’t have a boyfriend?” Sandara Park laughed and said, “I don’t know,” and Pungja said, “Why pretend to have one? I heard you’ve been single for a long time.”

Sandara Park said she ate four slices of bossam (boiled pork slices) and three shrimp and revealed, “My taste buds are active today. I even binged on apples and bananas for breakfast,” surprising Pungja.

Sandara Park also honestly expressed her concerns about her solo activities. She said, “My colleagues have already done what I’m about to do, but it’s my first time now. These days, I have to work with younger friends, daughters, and sons of friends, and so many things have changed.”
