Lexie has officially departed Saint Satin, the upcoming global girl group from HYBE x Geffen Records, before the group’s highly anticipated debut. The announcement was made on July 14, with the agency confirming that both sides reached the decision after extensive discussions.
In a statement shared through Weverse, HYBE x Geffen Records (HxG) said: “After extensive and thoughtful discussions regarding the group’s future activities, Lexie and the company have mutually agreed to part ways.”

The company also confirmed that Lexie will no longer be signed under HYBE x Geffen Records. No specific reason for the departure was disclosed. The agency added: “We sincerely support Lexie’s future endeavors and will continue providing our full support as Saint Satin prepares for its debut.”
Saint Satin is the second global girl group created through the partnership between HYBE and Geffen Records, following the successful debut of KATSEYE. According to the agency, the group’s name combines two contrasting concepts:
- “Saint” represents powerful charisma and a commanding musical presence.
- “Satin” symbolizes elegance, softness, and sophistication.
The combination is intended to reflect the group’s distinctive identity.

Prior to Lexie’s departure, Saint Satin’s lineup featured:
- Emily (United States)
- Lexie (Sweden)
- Samara (Brazil)
- Sakura (Japan)
Emily, Lexie, and Samara first gained recognition through The Debut: Dream Academy, the global audition program that launched HYBE and Geffen’s international talent project. Despite the lineup change, HYBE x Geffen confirmed that Saint Satin remains on track to debut in the second half of the year.
