“Running Man” Kim Jong Kook, “I’ve been using my car for 10 years. I’ll buy a Rolls-Royce for my future wife”
Kim Jong Kook showed his generous aspect on “Running Man”.
The July 30th broadcast of SBS’s program “Running Man” featured the episode called “Running Man Outing: Summer Vacation”. The members left for Jeongseon, Gangwon-do, and started living in the countryside.
During the opening, Yoo Jae Suk revealed that Ji Seok Jin recently purchased a new car, saying “Seok Jin hyung is driving in Taycan these days”. Embarrassed by the sudden disclosure, Ji Seok Jin reacted, “Why are you talking about that?”. In response, Yoo Jae Suk said, “We need to give the audience the latest updates”, adding “I’ll tell everyone when I change my car. I’ve been driving it for about 5 years now.”
Kim Jong Kook commented, “I’ve been using my car for 10 years and it’s only 40,000km”, referring to the low mileage of his car. Jeon So Min looked surprised and she exclaimed, “I’m willing to buy a secondhand one”. Hearing that, Yoo Jae Suk said, “If you marry him, you can drive that car”. Jeon So Min shook her head as she imagined marrying Kim Jong Kook and refused Yoo Jae Suk’s idea, saying “I’m okay. I don’t need that”, drawing laughter.
Kim Jong Kook then said, “I’ll buy a new car when I get married. I’ll buy a Rolls-Royce for my wife”, surprising the members with his unexpectedly generous side, unlike his usual thrifty image.
