Rumored member of Min Heejin X HYBE’s new girl group: Give off similar vibe as TWICE’s Jihyo

Recently, rumors of a child actress joining Min Heejin X HYBE‘s new girl group appeared on Korean social networking sites. The main character of these rumors is Ryu Hanbi (born in 2004), who appeared in various dramas such as MBC’s “Come and Hug Me”, tvN’s “Argon”, KBS’s “The Happy Loner”… With her role in “Come and Hug Me”, Ryu Hanbi took home the “Best Child Actor” award at the “MBC Drama Awards 2018“.

Rumors that Ryu Hanbi will be a member of Min Heejin‘s new girl group came from her mother’s move on SNS. Many netizens noticed that the account of Ryu Hanbi‘s mother started following Min Heejin and ADOR (All Doors One Room, a label run by Min Heejin) on Instagram. In addition, Ryu Hanbi’s mother also liked and left a comment under ADOR‘s post.

Currently, this rumor is yet to be verified. However, given the fact that Ryu Hanbi has stopped acting since 2018 despite receiving positive feedback on her acting, many netizens believe that there is a high chance she participated in Plus Global Audition in 2019 and joined Min Heejin‘s company in 2020 as rumored. Korean netizens have left many comments praising Ryu Hanbi‘s visual and that she matches Min Heejin‘s group well. Some netizens also think that Ryu Hanbi gives off similar vibes as TWICE’s Jihyo.
