Taiwanese actress Ruby Lin made rare and heartfelt revelations about her marriage to Wallace Huo during a recent television appearance, admitting that she once “married in a hurry” due to pregnancy.

According to 163 Entertainment, Ruby Lin’s candid confession drew widespread attention, as it was one of the few times the actress spoke openly about her private life.

“Yes, at that time, I had to marry quickly because I was pregnant,” Ruby Lin admitted, adding that only six months after their wedding, the couple began living apart.

Wallace Huo was busy filming the hit drama Ruyi’s Royal Love in the Palace, spending long days on set and rarely returning home.

“I’m an actress too, so I understood the demands of filming. At first, I didn’t mind — I even felt happy I could snack freely without anyone watching,” she joked. “But later, I realized that not seeing each other for so long created distance between us. I nearly fell into depression because of that loneliness.”

The actress said she was grateful that her husband eventually recognized the issue and made efforts to reconnect.

“No matter how busy he was, he would try to spend three or four days at home every ten days or so. That really helped us reconnect,” she shared.

Still, Ruby Lin admitted that long separations and small misunderstandings accumulated over time, subtly affecting their relationship.

“I don’t have much dating experience, so I didn’t really know how to handle it. One reason I joined this show was to learn how others face similar challenges — maybe find an answer for myself,” said the star of The Glamorous Imperial Concubine.

Ruby Lin and Wallace Huo first went public with their relationship in May 2016, and tied the knot two months later in a lavish wedding in Bali. Their daughter Amelia was born the following year.

Since then, Wallace Huo has gradually stepped back from acting to focus on family life, while Ruby Lin transitioned into producing, gaining praise for her work behind the scenes.

Although the couple faced rumors of marital strain due to their low profile and lack of public interaction, both have consistently chosen to remain silent and private, maintaining stability away from the spotlight.
