On July 28, R.Tee announced the formation of the new label, expressing his ambition to “nurture global artists with exceptional musicality” under a fresh and independent platform.
He further stated that his mission goes beyond music production—he aims to support talented creators across a wide range of artistic fields. This visionary move marks a new chapter in R.Tee’s influential career, which has shaped the sound of many major K-pop hits over the years.
R.Tee has been the creative force behind a number of chart-topping songs including BIGBANG’s “Fxxk It”, BLACKPINK’s “Playing with Fire”, “Kill This Love” and “Pink Venom”, as well as Lisa’s global hit “Money”. His production credits span collaborations with major artists such as aespa’s Winter, WINNER, iKON and Jeon Somi.
In 2022, R.Tee gained additional recognition as a producer on “Show Me the Money 11”, where his tracks “My Way” and “Ugly Duckling” made significant impacts on music charts. As a DJ, he has also performed at high-profile global events like Ultra Music Festival and World DJ Festival, sharing the stage with internationally renowned DJs.
Looking ahead, R.Tee is set to release a new song titled “Damdadi” in August, featuring I-DLE’s Jeon Soyeon as the vocalist. The project is highly anticipated as the first official release under RTST LABEL and a demonstration of R.Tee’s continued musical innovation.
