Idol-actor Rowoon will be absent from the next album of his group, SF9, due being busy with filming and other personal schedules.
On June 24th, SF9’s agency FNC Entertainment, posted a notice related to Rowoon’s not participating in the upcoming album of SF9 through the group’s official fancafe.
The company started their announcement by expressing their gratitude to fans, who always send a lot of love for SF9. Then, they said: “Rowoon faced an inevitable situation, in which he had to carry out a tight schedule, including drama filming and the long-running album production activities.”
“We had deep discussions about the preparations for the next album while finishing the drama as scheduled, and came to the difficult decision for Rowoon not to participate in the production of the album, as it was right to show a more complete and good side”, the agency added.
They then asked for fans’ understanding that Rowoon was unfortunately unable to participate in the album, which many fans have been looking forward to.
“We ask for your generous support and interest in various activities, including SF9’s comeback”, FNC concluded.
At this, many fans cheered on the male idol, saying that they felt sorry for him hoping that he’d get a good break. However, many netizens thought otherwise, accusing Rowoon of abandoning his original job and worrying that Rowoon will leave SF9 to pursue acting.
Rowoon debuted in 2016 with SF9, before gaining attention through various K-drama series like “School 2017”, “Extraordinary You”, “The King’s Affection”, and most recently, “Tomorrow”.
