RM expressed his gratitude during a press conference.
According to Big Hit Music on Nov 29th (Korea Standard Time), BTS leader RM said at a press conference held at the Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles that day, “If our success is 100%, 50% of it is from ARMY, and 5% from each member. The remaining 15% are from HYBE and Big Hit. That’s why we are able to succeed”.
“If you think of this as a trophy, the part I occupy is a very small edge,” he said adding, “I think of it as a success of many people, not a success I made. Thinking like that keeps me humble. This seems to be an important mind in order to survive in this job,” he said.
Talking about the Grammy nomination, Suga said, “I’m excited that I was nominated. Of course, it won’t be easy,” he said adding, “I’m grateful that there’s still another barrier to challenge. I don’t know if I can surpass it or not, but there’s no tree that doesn’t fall over after 10 swings.”
The boys also talked about their excitement over being able to meet their fans in person for the first time in 2 years. “I practiced a lot thinking about our fans,” Jin confessed.
Jimin said, “We had tried hard to comfort those who are with us during this period and to be healed by you guys as well. Standing on the stage with fans for the first time in a while, I feel like we’re back in where we should be. I hope that time will come soon when many people can go back to their seats and start a new start,” he added. RM then called the concert “the beginning of a new chapter”.
J-Hope said, “I hope this concert will make us forget all the negative emotions and depression.”
BTS will host “BTS Permission to Dance on Stage – LA” for four nights at Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles (LA) until the 2nd of next month (local time). The last performance night will also be broadcast live online.
