Red Velvet’s Irene drew attention by making a surprise appearance in a camping video.
On Nov 28th, a video titled “First time camping out in a car alone” was uploaded on the YouTube channel “Red Velvet“.
In the video, Irene revealed, “You may be wondering ‘What’s going on?’, ‘Is it photoshopped?’. Today I’ll be driving and going camping. It’s for a series called ‘First Time’.”
Leaving for Daebu Island for camping, she said, “Tomahawk steak, ramyeon and tteokbokki. If I can make it, I’ll try to do that. I’ve never done this alone, so I’m worried if I’ll do a good job. Our manager said I’ll be so clumsy and funny. But you know, it feels like I want to do it perfectly.”
Arriving at the camping site, Irene struggled with unfamiliar camping equipment and tools, but she installed it safely. Afterwards, she started cooking to fill her stomach, and she showed off her excellent cooking skills by removing the blood from Tomahawk meat. She even made tteokbokki and distributed them to the staff.
At the end of the day, Irene smilingly shared, “Any regret I have for today? Normally when you come camping, it feels like you need to eat ramyeon, but it’s a pity that I couldn’t prepare it. Still, I had a healing time looking at my favorite nature after a long time.”
