RIIZE’s Seunghan Revealed to Have Shed Tears in Front of Fans Amid Private Life Controversy

Fans witnessed RIIZE Seunghan crying on stage while attempting to speak before the audience.

According to fans who attended RIIZE’s recent recording for Mnet Mcountdown, Seunghan was the last to speak, and some fans yelled out that they loved him. He said, “I’m sorry for saying this in such a happy place…” and started crying. 

Sungchan embraced him, while other members didn’t know what to do. Shotaro asked, “Should we end the speech?” They then left the stage.

Prior to this, Seunghan became embroiled in a privacy controversy. As Seunghan personally issued an apology, attention has turned to whether he can win back the hearts of his fans.

Recently, a leaked photo showing Seunghan kissing a woman on a bed circulated online, sparking controversy. 

On August 30, Seunghan apologized through RIIZE’s official Instagram account. He said, “I am sorry for causing harm to the group and disappointing the members and the company due to personal matters at the moment before debut.”

SM Entertainment stated, “Seunghan deeply reflects on letting down the fans and causing damage to the group just before debut. We will manage and support RIIZE more closely.”

While leaking private photos is a crime, privacy issues can take a serious toll on idols who rely on fans’ love. With their debut single album “Get A Guitar” set to release on September 4th, RIIZE’s ability to overcome Seunghan’s controversy and prove themselves through music is gaining attention.
