RIIZE Listed in Grammy’s “25 Artists to Watch in 2024” as Only K-pop Boy Group

On January 3 (local time), the official website of the Grammy Awards released a list for “25 Artists to watch in 2024”, with various names predicted to explode in the music scene, and RIIZE is one of them.

In particular, Grammy highlighted RIIZE as one of “K-pop’s fifth-generation leaders” and mentioned the group’s simple mission: to rise and realize together.

“Their mini-album, ‘Get a Guitar’, sold over 1 million copies in less than a week and quickly landed them at the top of Korea’s music charts. And 2024 is on course to be an even bigger year for them”, Grammy also emphasized.

Notably, RIIZE is the only K-pop boy group to be mentioned in Grammy’s “25 Artists to watch in 2024” list.

Previously, RIIZE made it to the year-end roundup lists of major overseas media, with their song “Get A Guitar” being selected in Billboard’s “The 25 Best K-Pop Songs of 2023” list. Despite being active for less than six months, RIIZE made a significant impact in 2023 with three singles. Among those, “Get A Guitar” was praised for showcasing RIIZE’s strengths in the evolving K-pop landscape and hinting at their future potential.

In addition to Billboard, RIIZE gained attention globally, being recognized in Grammy’s “15 K-Pop Songs That Took 2023 By Storm” with “Get A Guitar”, NME’s “The 25 Best K-pop Songs of 2023” with “Memories”, and Nylon’s “2023 K-Pop Superlatives” with “Siren”.

With their unique music genre called “Emotional Pop” and distinctive performances, RIIZE continues to receive consistent recognition both domestically and internationally.

Having won Best New Artist awards at numerous prestigious award ceremonies, RIIZE started the new year on a high note. Their achievements in 2023 have garnered attention, and there is anticipation for them to build on this success in 2024.

Furthermore, RIIZE is set to release a new single, “Love 119”, on January 5th.
