BTOB’s Changsub Issues Apology For Organizing a Contest without a Winner

BTOB Changsub has apologized for his logo design contest controversy.

Changsub, a member of BTOB, and currently serving as the president of the music application school CHANG-GGO, has found himself in the midst of a public apology after a recent logo design contest stirred up controversy.

The incident unfolded when CHANG-GGO, under Changsub’s leadership, launched a competition to create a fresh logo for the institution. The enticing prize for the winner was a shopping voucher worth 500,000 won.

However, the conclusion of the competition didn’t bring the expected outcome. CHANG-GGO decided not to crown a victorious design, citing, “It’s unfortunate that we couldn’t identify a logo that resonated with the school’s vision.” This decision didn’t sit well with participants, who raised concerns about the lack of clarity in the contest’s rules and expectations.

The fallout from this decision was not taken lightly, as criticism began to mount against CHANG-GGO. Participants and observers questioned the transparency of the contest’s guidelines and the fairness of the process.

In response to the growing controversy, Changsub stepped forward to issue an apology. He expressed, “As a newcomer to the business world, I deeply regret not conducting thorough research before launching the contest. I should have been upfront about the possibility of the competition not yielding a winner. To prevent any recurrence of such oversight, I am committed to becoming a president who exercises more prudent decision-making.”
