On May 10, YouTube channel Fairy Jaehyung uploaded a new episode titled “Thank You Father, Thank You Son,” featuring singer-songwriter Yoon Sang and his son Anton as guests.
During the episode, Yoon Sang reflected on his decision to study abroad in Boston after marrying Shim Hye Jin.
The singer shared: “It had always been my dream. Before marrying Hye Jin, I thought if we settled in Seoul right away, I’d never get the chance to study abroad. So we decided to start our newlywed life in Boston.”
Host Jung Jae Hyung jokingly asked whether Anton was born during that period and teased Yoon Sang by asking if he had actually gone there to study or simply “farm.”
Yoon Sang laughed and replied: “That’s right. I farmed.”
The conversation later turned toward Shim Hye Jin’s famous beauty. Jung Jae Hyung asked Anton: “Do you know how beautiful your mother was?” Without hesitation, Anton answered: “She’s still beautiful. You should compliment her more often, dad.”
Yoon Sang responded playfully: “If I say that too much, people will think I’m obsessed with my wife.” The exchange quickly melted fans’ hearts, with many praising the family’s warm atmosphere and Anton’s sweet personality.
Yoon Sang and Shim Hye Jin married in 2002 and have two sons together. Shim Hye Jin debuted as part of HBS’s first class of open recruitment actors in 1995 and later appeared in multiple Korean dramas throughout her career.
As Anton continues gaining popularity through RIIZE’s activities, fans have also shown increasing interest in his celebrity family background and the close relationship he shares with his parents.
