A wave of online criticism has emerged after it was reported that RIIZE member Anton’s younger brother, born in 2009, is currently training under SM Entertainment and could be next in line to debut.
The buzz originated from a viral post on a Korean online forum, which has already garnered over 45,000 views. The post included several photos of the teen, claiming he has been seen entering and exiting the SM building multiple times fueling speculation about his official trainee status.

Fans also noted that he was reportedly spotted sitting among other trainees during the 2025 SMTOWN Live concert, reinforcing suspicions that he’s gearing up for a debut.
However, Korean netizens weren’t too thrilled by the news. Instead, many took to the comments to label him yet another “nepo baby,” referring to the siblings’ well-known connection to their father, famed Korean composer Yoon Sang.

Comments ranged from skeptical to scathing:
- “Nepo babies.”
- “I saw Anton’s brother’s face he’s not even good-looking.”
- “Anton looked cute as a kid, but after his debut? Meh. Personality, visuals… they just have it easy because of their dad.”
- “Another nepotism case, just like Anton.”
- “Honestly, the younger one looks better than Anton.”
- “It’s obvious he’ll debut soon this is going viral for a reason.”
This backlash reflects a growing skepticism toward celebrity family ties in K-pop, especially as more children of established entertainers enter the industry. While nothing has been confirmed by SM Entertainment, the attention surrounding Anton’s brother suggests his journey in the spotlight may be just beginning whether the public is ready for it or not.
