Reporter “BTS·ILLIT·LE SSERAFIM got hurt” How does Min Hee-jin respond?

ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin gave a firm response to a reporter's question during the press conference

On the afternoon of May 31st, CEO Min Hee-jin held a press conference at the Korea Press Center in Jung-gu, Seoul to address her position regarding ADOR’s extraordinary shareholders’ meeting held this morning.

During the Q&A session, a reporter asked CEO Min, “It seems that other idol groups have been hurt by this controversy. There are suspicions that BTS is linked to a particular organization, and groups like ILLIT and LE SSERAFIM have also been affected. What would you like to say to them?

CEO Min replied, “NewJeans has also been hurt. I think everyone has been hurt by this. I’m human too. One of my employees said something memorable. ‘People seem to think that Hee-jin isn’t human.’ But I’m human, and so are NewJeans members and others. So rather than addressing a specific group, I believe it’s better not to mention it at all.”

She continued, “In fact, to avoid hurting journalists or anyone else, we need to stop talking about this. The act of constantly bringing it up and discussing whether it hurts or not is itself hurtful. If we really care about them, we should stop mentioning it.”

CEO Min added, “To heal the wounds, compromise is necessary. We need to find a new solution.”

Meanwhile, during ADOR’s extraordinary shareholders’ meeting held this morning, the dismissal of two internal directors known to be close to CEO Min was approved. The new internal directors appointed are HYBE’s executives: Lee Jae-sang (CSO), Kim Joo-young (CHRO) and Lee Kyung-joon (CFO).
