Attention was drawn to Instagram photos uploaded by Red Velvet’s Yeri.
On December 18, Yeri posted several pictures taken with the late Jonghyun on her Instagram story. In the photos, Yeri and Jonghyun were posing affectionately outdoors. The two showed off their intimate chemistry by taking selfies with a chic expression.
Yeri also shared a picture of her phone’s wallpaper playing Jonghyun’s song “Shinin‘”. “Shinin'” is the title track of Jonghyun’s second full album. Jonghyun was in charge of writing and composing it himself.
SHINee‘s Jonghyun and Yeri, who worked as artists under the same agency SM Entertainment, are known to have maintained a special friendship beyond senior-junior.
Yeri expressed her longing for Jonghyun by sharing her memories with him through SNS every year. Meanwhile, SHINee’s Jonghyun passed away on December 18, 2017 at the age of 27.
