Red Velvet will present love songs with different messages through their upcoming new album.
Red Velvet will release the new mini album ‘The ReVe Festival 2022 – Birthday’ on various music sites at 6 pm KST on November 28th.
The new album is the second album of Red Velvet’s music festival ‘The ReVe Festival 2022’. It contains 6 tracks of various genres, including the title song ‘Birthday’.
‘Birthday’ is a pop dance song based on a trap rhythm. It is about returning to the birthday of a loved one, making a wish come true, and presenting an unforgettable day.
In addition to this, spoilers of the new b-side tracks have been given. ‘BYE BYE’ is an R&B pop dance song. The gliding bass and string sound are combined.
It is about a girl calmly saying goodbye to her lover and promising not to be swayed by love anymore. The nonchalant yet chic atmosphere of the song adds to its mature charm.
Another b-side, ‘Roller Coaster (On A Ride),’ is a hyper pop dance song. The pluck sound that glides rhythmically over the cheerful beat is impressive.
In the lyrics, the fluttering heart because of a favorite person is compared to a roller coaster. It provides a lively and fantastic feeling as if you are in an amusement park.
