A recently published behind-the-scenes video of IU’s concert was passed around the Internet and soon became the talk of the town. As a singer, IU has already peaked in her field. She is an all-rounded artist with both talent and constant effort.
IU released a behind-video on her YouTube channel of her solo concert “The Golden Hour: Under the Orange Sun” in September.
In the commentary video, she was seen taking a light nap while preparing for the concert and up and running at the call of the staff. It showed how much effort IU put in to give her fans a wonderful concert experience, a promise she made with fans.
Despite her visible tiredness, the singer continued to talk with an optimistic outlook to boost morale and keep a lively and positive atmosphere.
On the day of the concert, when the PD asked, “Did you have a good dream?” she responded, “How can I dream when I couldn’t sleep, but it’s okay.”
She said as if a self-encouragement, “I don’t need to sleep everyday. You can only sleep once every two days”. Afterwards, IU also recalled the struggle of the previous rehearsal where she and the dancers were having a hard time preparing in the rain.
In addition, IU recently confessed to having a hearing disorder a year ago.
Therefore, she said that the biggest difficulty in the concert was herself, and that she entered a stable zone by trying to control her condition.
