“Queen of Tears” Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won, sweet chemistry even while preparing for shooting

On April 17th, a new behind-the-scenes video of tvN’s Saturday-Sunday drama “Queen of Tears” was released on the tvN drama channel.

The video showcased behind-the-scenes of a scene where Hong Hae-in (played by Kim Ji-won) mistakes Baek Hyun-woo (played by Kim Soo-hyun) and Yoon Eun-sung (played by Park Sung-hoon). During rehearsal, Kim Soo-hyun playfully pushed Park Sung-hoon, causing laughter on set.

After the first failed attempt, Park Sung-hoon laughed off a miscommunication, and after the second attempt, Kim Soo-hyun jokingly criticized himself for halting unexpectedly. Eventually, they succeeded, prompting Park Sung-hoon to express satisfaction.

Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won immersed themselves in the scenes, displaying couple-like chemistry and perfect immersion in their roles.

Kim Soo-hyun skillfully styled Kim Ji-won’s hair and demonstrated proficient drying skills during filming. In episode 12 of “Queen of Tears”, there was a scene where Hong Hae-in smiles while secretly wearing the proposal ring given by Baek Hyun-woo. 

Despite a wardrobe challenge during rehearsal, Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won improvised, maintaining their affectionate portrayal. Their on-screen chemistry was praised by the production team.
