Proof that shows how devoted the cast of “The Glory” is to their respective role: Park Sung Hoon “baths” in cement, Cha Joo Young rips off her shirt on-screen

It goes to show how these actors are dedicated to their roles.

Park Sung Hoon plays Jeon Jae Joon, heir of a country and a tormentor of Moon Dong Eun (Song Hye Kyo). He is the biological father to Ha Ye Sol and often competes with Ha Do Young to be her one true father.

However, the win sadly does not go to him. At the end of the drama, Jeon Jae Joon falls to his demise, with a little push from Ha Do Young (Jung Sung Il), into a pit of cement.

What’s noteworthy is that the actor reportedly fell into the pit himself without relying on a stunt actor, showing how dedicated he was to the role.

Kim Hieora

Kim Hieora transforms into Lee Sa Ra, a drug addict and abstract painter. To play the part, she reportedly spent her time observing behaviors of real drug addicts and even lost some weight to look the part.

As known from her previous roles, Kim Hieora really captured the essence of her character through the drowsy eyes and intonation along with a series of perfectly depicted withdrawal symptoms. Thanks to her, Lee Se Ra actually came to life.

Lim Ji Yeon

As Park Yeon Jin, Lim Ji Yeon manages to capture attention as a weather forecaster with an almost well-buried past. For the role, Lim Ji Yeon had to spend hours practicing and mimicking the diction of a weather forecaster. For a special occasion, Lim Ji Yeon even received an invitation from JTBC to be a weather forecaster on the channel for one day.

Cha Joo Young

Cha Joo Young also got her share of fame thanks to her devotion to her role as Choi Hye Jeong. One of her most notable moments was during her confrontation with Park Yeon Jin, where the actress ripped off the shirt she was wearing as a statement against her “friend”.

While it was revealed that CGI was involved in the scene, it did serve to show how Cha Joo Young was unhesitant to do what needed to be done to add a strong shock value to the story.
