“Please remove the screen”, BLACKPINK Jisoo showed generous fan service

Jisoo removed the protective screen and left no space between herself and fans

On the afternoon of September 25th, a fansign event was held to commemorate the release of BLACKPINK‘s 2nd regular album “BORN PINK” at the IFC Mall in Yeouido, Seoul.

On this day, a large number of fans gathered around the venue long before the scheduled time, proving BLACKPINK’s intense popularity. Rosé, Lisa, Jisoo, and Jennie, who appeared amidst the warm cheers, were amazed at the crowd that filled the space and greeted the fans with a bright smile.

However, not long after the fan signing event, Jisoo suddenly complained of discomfort. That was the problem with the acrylic screen installed between the artist and the fan to prevent the spread of Covide-19. At the offline fansign, an event that was held after a long time, Jisoo asked the staff to remove the screen to communicate more closely with the fans, and showed off her extraordinary fan service by making friendly eye contact and various poses.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK’s 2nd full album “BORN PINK” helped the BLACKPINK to become the first K-pop girl group to top the UK’s official album chart, while the title song “Shut Down” is the first K-pop song to top the Global Weekly Song Chart on Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming platform. At the same time, BLACKPINK is showing off their status on various global charts, often finding themselves on top of weekly charts.

“BORN PINK” is also the first Kpop girl group album to earn the “double million seller” title with physical sales of about 2,142,81 copies (including exports to North America and Europe and domestic sales within a day and a half).
