Members of KINGDOM appealed to Naver regarding the group’s exposure on Naver’s search engine.
On Oct 19th, the members of KINGDOM hosted a live broadcast on Naver Vibe. During the broadcast, Dann, a KINGDOM member, said, “If you type ‘Kingdom’ on the portal site Naver, we won’t appear (in the search result). We would like to ask for a search exposure,” saying, “We would like to ask for that favor while we are here at Naver.”
Earlier, an insider from KINGDOM’s agency GF Entertainment also said, “It’s been two years since the group debuted. If you type Kingdom in Korean, our group cannot be found on Naver. We’ve only got an answer from them that that it was because of the search algorithm. For those who like KINGDOM, please help KINGDOM being searched.”
Meanwhile, netizens who watched the live broadcast of the KINGDOM members left their comments, saying, “My favorite idol also has the same name as a destination, which is why they don’t appear on the search engine,” “Can’t the agency make a request?” “What should they do when the drama, entertainment show, and the game Kingdom is more popular?” and “That’s why the name is important.”
Meanwhile, KINGDOM released their fifth mini-album “History of Kingdom: Part V. Louis” on Oct 5th.
