Pentagon Yeo One to temporarily suspend his activities after being hit by a drunk driving car

An idol member who was injured by a drunk driver has decided to temporarily suspend his activities.

On Feb 10th, Cube Entertainment announced that Pentagon Yeo One will temporarily suspend his activities due to a back injury.

Yeo One was hit by a drunk driving vehicle on the way home from his personal schedule earlier in the early morning of Feb 9th. After the accident, he should have visited the emergency room and received medical treatment then returned home to rest. However, Yeo One appeared on a live broadcast of “Idol Live School: Homecoming Day” held on Feb 9th due to minor symptoms and strong will to carry out the schedule.

Yeo One, who was returning home after completing this schedule, felt pain in his back and eventually went to the hospital to receive medical treatment.

An official from Cube Entertainment explained, “As the artist’s quick recovery and health should be prioritized, the company inevitably decided to suspend Yeo One’s future album activities and let him focus on recovering his injury. Until Yeo One’s injury recovers, Pentagon will continue their promotion as a seven-member group for the time being.”
