Park Yoochun Shows Signs of Comeback after Crimes: Bleached Hair and Lost Weight?
Despite his crimes, Park Yoochun is worming his way back to the entertainment industry with an upgraded appearance.
On April 2, Park Yoochun uploaded several videos titled “Park Yuchun’s Signal” on his YouTube channel “Himawari TV (SIGNAL OFFICIAL)” to inform fans about his recent activities.
In the videos, Park Yoochun can be seen leisurely traveling in Thailand. He takes a boat ride along the river, enjoys a cup of coffee, walks a leopard, and takes photos with a giraffe.
Furthermore, he indulges in leisure activities such as riding a recreational 4-wheel motorcycle in nature, leading a peaceful and relaxing daily life.
In another video, Park Yoochun is captured having a band session in a studio in Thailand, singing Japanese lyrics along with the band’s performance. He interacts with the band members and showcases his skills as a singer.
Especially noticeable is Park Yoochun’s appearance with bleached hair, which bears strong resemblance to his past idol days. His slimmed-down figure and rejuvenated facial features also draw attention, as if reminding fans of his former self.
Meanwhile, Park Yoochun faced allegations of methamphetamine use in 2019 and was sentenced to 10 months in prison with a two-year probation in July of the same year.
At the time, he held an urgent press conference denying the allegations, stating that he had never used drugs and would retire if proven otherwise. However, with positive test results, he was found guilty of drug use and expelled from the entertainment industry.
Additionally, in December of last year, he was listed as a high-income habitual tax evader by the National Tax Service.
Despite seemingly leaving the entertainment industry, Park Yoochun appears to be reversing his retirement and initiating a comeback. From the 9th to the 11th of last month, he held fan meetings and dinner shows in Japan to commemorate his 20th debut anniversary.
