On May 30, Park Yoochun uploaded a new photo to his personal social media account, giving followers a glimpse of his recent appearance.
In the photo, Park is seen sitting in what appears to be a restaurant, looking down while gazing at something off-camera.
Sporting bleached blonde hair and glasses, Park Yoochun appeared noticeably different from the youthful image that defined the peak of his career. His slimmer frame and more mature features prompted many observers to reflect on the passage of time and the dramatic changes in his life over the years.

Park Yoochun’s career has been marked by a series of controversies. In 2016, he became embroiled in a sexual misconduct scandal that generated significant public attention.
He later faced even greater controversy in 2019 after being arrested on charges related to methamphetamine use. He received a 10-month prison sentence suspended for two years. During the investigation, Park had publicly denied the allegations and stated that he would retire from the entertainment industry if the accusations proved true. However, the charges were ultimately confirmed.
In addition to his legal troubles, it was revealed that Park had failed to pay approximately 409 million won in taxes, including capital gains taxes and other obligations. His name was included on South Korea’s list of high-value habitual tax delinquents released by the National Tax Service in December 2023.

Park Yoochun also became involved in a legal dispute with his former agency. A court ruled that he must pay 500 million won in damages after continuing independent entertainment activities despite an injunction decision related to his contractual obligations.
As a result of the numerous controversies surrounding him, Park Yoochun has effectively been pushed out of South Korea’s mainstream entertainment industry. Despite this, he has continued pursuing entertainment activities overseas, particularly in Japan.
