Park Sung-woong Paid Tribute To Late Lee Sun-kyun During Acceptance Speech, “Goodbye brother”

Park Sung-woong paid tribute to Lee Sun-kyun after winning the Top Excellence Award at the 2023 SBS Drama Awards, which aired on December 29th.

On this day, Park Sung-woong received the trophy for the Top Excellence Award (Specialized Genre or Action Ministries) category with “The Killing Vote.”

Park Sung-woong then took the stage with a dark face and said, “I want to write a letter rather than an acceptance speech.”

“I wish you rest in a peaceful world where there is no pain or concern anymore. Today is the day that we sent you to heaven, and I received this award,” he said. “I dedicate this award to you in heaven. Goodbye brother,” he said to Lee Sun-kyun.

Meanwhile, Lee Sun-kyun passed away on December 27th while under police investigation for drug use charges.
