On March 16th, “W KOREA” uploaded an interview video featuring Lim Ji Yeon, Park Sung Hoon, Kim Hieora, Cha Joo Young and Kim Gun Woo, who appeared in “The Glory” as the five school violence perpetrators.
In the video, the five actors were asked, “Who was the biggest villain in Part 2?”. Park Sung Hoon, who portrayed Jeon Jae Joon, said, “I was about to choose Cha Joo Young, but then I realized that I was worse, so I picked myself.”
He explained, “After Part 1 was released, writer Kim Eun Sook told me, ‘Jae Joon ah, your popularity will only last for two months, so enjoy that two months to the fullest. When Part 2 is released, the public will abandon you.’ After the acts Jae Joon did were revealed in Part 2, I think my character was chosen as the villain.”
Park Sung Hoon made his debut in 2008 in the movie “A Frozen Flower”. Since then, he has participated in various acting projects, such as movies “Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum”, “High Society”, “Forbidden Dream”, etc., and dramas “Six Flying Dragons”, “My Only One”, and so on. He also starred in several theater plays, including “The Cat on the Roof”, “History Boys”, and “Model Students.”
In “The Glory”, he acted as Jeon Jae Joon who, along with Park Yeon Jin (Lim Ji Yeon), Lee Sa Ra (Kim Hieora), Choi Hye Jeong (Cha Joo Young), and Son Myeong Oh (Kim Gun Woo), relentlessly bullied Moon Dong Eun (Song Hye Kyo) during their high school years.
In “The Glory”, Jeon Jae Joon confronts Park Yeon Jin’s husband Ha Do Yeong (Jung Sung Il) after discovering that their daughter Ha Ye Sol is actually his own daughter.
Meanwhile, Park Sung Hoon is preparing for Disney+’s drama “Men and Men” as his next project. “Men and Men” depicts the cohabitation of Jin Hee (Choi Soo Young), a daughter who works as a police patrol team leader, and her mother Eun Mi (Jeon Hye Jin). In this work, Park Sung Hoon will assume the role of Jae Won, the head of the police station where Jin Hee works.
