Actors Bae Yong Joon and Park Soo Jin, along with Park Shin Hye and Choi Tae Joon, recently sparked buzz after being spotted together in Singapore. As photos of the two celebrity couples circulated online, renewed attention has turned to the special friendship between Park Shin Hye and Park Soo Jin, who have maintained a close bond for an impressive 13 years.
On June 8, photos of the two couples appearing together at Terminal 4 of Singapore Changi Airport spread through local media outlets and social media platforms.
In the released images, the couples were seen dressed in relaxed yet stylish airport fashion while attentively caring for their children during the trip. Although Bae Yong Joon and Choi Tae Joon partially covered their faces with masks and glasses, their star aura remained unmistakable. Park Soo Jin showcased her timeless fashion sense in an oversized shirt, while Park Shin Hye appeared warm and motherly, wearing a bucket hat while managing a stroller and luggage.
The unexpected family outing also reignited public interest in the long-standing friendship between Park Shin Hye and Park Soo Jin. Their relationship dates back to the hit 2013 tvN drama Flower Boys Next Door, where the two actresses first worked together.
At the time, the pair portrayed rivals onscreen. Despite playing vastly different characters with contrasting styles and charms, they developed a close friendship behind the scenes. Even after the drama ended, the two continued meeting regularly and openly supporting one another, eventually becoming one of the entertainment industry’s most beloved celebrity friendships.
Back in 2017, Park Shin Hye shared a photo with Park Soo Jin and actress Park Mi So on social media, affectionately writing, “My love, Shyamsoo. Miso-jjang.
