Their eyes looking towards each other were full off affection. With sincerity, they recited their pledge and vowed for eternity in front of more than 200 guests. Actors Park Shin-hye (31 years old) and Choi Tae-joon (30 years old) have signed a “100-year contract”. The two are Christians. At 11:30 A.M on January 22nd, their happy wedding was held at a church in Seoul.
Park Shin-hye boasted her elegant beauty. She wore a pure white wedding dress and held a graceful purple bouquet. Meanwhile, Choi Tae-joon pulled off a black tuxedo with his gentle visual.
The wedding ceremony was held reverently and calmly. 200 guests all appeared wearing masks. They celebrated every moment of the two’s new start with a warm round of applause. The highlight of the wedding ceremony was the two’s wedding vow. Choi Tae-joon raised his one hand first to recite. Looking into Park Shin-hye’s eyes, he began to say the vow.
“I, Choi Tae-joon, pledge to take you, Park Shin-hye, as my wife to love and care for you when I am happy or sad, rich or poor, healthy or sick” Park Shin-hye then took over the microphone. While saying, “I, Park Shin-hye, pledge to take you, Choi Tae-joon, as my husband to love and care for you when I am happy or sad, rich or poor,…”, Park Shin-hye suddenly shed tears.
Their best friends in the entertainment industry also showed up to gift them congratulatory wedding songs. F.T. Island Lee Hong-ki sang “I’m Saying” (“The Heirs” OST), while Crush and EXO D.O sang “Beautiful”. Lee Juck appeared as a surprise guest then sang “It’s Fortunate”.
Zico also wrote a letter and read it himself. Zico and Choi Tae-joon have been friends for 11 years. They met each other in their trainee days and have built a strong friendship. Therefore, Zico appeared to deliver his blessings to the couple.
An official revealed, “While preparing the congratulatory poem, Zico even wrote a letter with all his sincerity after many considerations. Both Park Shin-hye and Choi Tae-joon were touched by Zico’s letter”.
Many other guests also showed up. IU, Nam Goong-min, Lee Min-ho, Lee Seo-jin, Seolhyun, Yoo Yeon-seok, Oh Yeon-seo, Ryu Jun-yeol, Uhm Ji-won, Kim Bum, Im Seul-ong, Hwang Chan-sung, Lee Dong-hwi, Nam Ji-hyun, Yoon Kyun-sang, and Son Yeon-jae all attended the wedding.
Park Shin-hye and Choi Tae-joon are both alumni of Chung Ang University. In 2017, they developed from senior and junior into lovers. The two are also waiting for the birth of their first child. In November last year, Park Shin-hye announced her pregnancy.
