Park Seo Joon and IU’s movie “Dream” confirmed for release on April 26th

Director Lee Byung Hun, who has been well-received through the box office hit “Extreme Job” and the cult classic “Melo Is My Nature”, will be returning to the screen after 4 years with “Dream”.

“Dream”, which stars Park Seo Joon and IU (real name Lee Ji Eun), takes on the motif of the Homeless World Cup, in which Korea participated for the first time in 2010. In addition, actors with solid acting skills, including Kim Jong Soo, Ko Chang Seok, Jeong Sung Gil, Lee Hyeon Woo, Yang Hyun Min, Hong Wan Pyo, and Heo Jun Seok will join forces to complete the perfect “dream team”.

The launch poster of “Dream”, which was published alongside the confirmed release date of April 26th, raises expectations for the movie by radiating cheerful energy with visuals of players putting their feet together around a soccer ball on a fresh green ground, ahead of an exciting match.

In addition, a “Dream Team” roster announcement video was released, raising expectations with a group of characters who will show off the most delightful chemistry in 2023.

Particularly, Park Seo Joon will assume the role of coach Yoon Hong Dae, while IU will transform into aspiring PD Lee So Min. Meanwhile, Lee Hyeon Woo will play the role of Kim In Sun, Kim Jong Soo as Kim Hwan Dong, Ko Chang Seok as Jeon Hye Bong, Jung Seung Gil as Son Beom Soo, Yang Hyun Min as Jeon Moon Soo, Hong Wan Pyo as Young Jin, and Heo Joon Seok as secretary general Hwang In Guk.  

As such, “Dream”, which announced the chemistry of the most attractive characters through a launch poster and announcement video of the dream team, is expected to captivate audiences of all generations with a story of a special challenge toward a dream.

“Dream” is a work that depicts the story of a former soccer player and a PD, who challenge impossible dreams with ragtag national soccer players. The movie will be released on April 26th.
