On January 19, prominent attorney Jang Hyun Oh of SK Law Office spoke publicly about the possible legal consequences Park Na Rae may face, evaluating each case on a scale of 0–100. According to Jang’s analysis posted on his personal YouTube channel, scores above 80 suggest offenses that could result in jail sentences.
Regarding the unpaid wages allegations, the lawyer scored this issue 50/100, noting that if the Ministry of Employment and Labor intervenes and finds criminal liability for wage withholding, Park could face criminal penalties.
On accusations of embezzlement—allegedly involving Park’s ex‑boyfriend and her mother being listed as company employees and paid without working—Jang scored 70/100. He explained that the severity of any sentence would depend on the amount of misappropriated funds, and acknowledged that imprisonment for this type of crime is relatively rare.
For alleged illegal drug use, Park received an 80/100 score in Jang’s assessment, with the attorney noting that first‑time offenses do not always result in prison but that the outcome will depend heavily on how Park responds and defends herself.
In the case of a manager who claims to have been seriously injured by Park, Jang assigned a 75/100 score, emphasizing that a settlement between the parties could lessen legal risk, while failure to reach an agreement could heighten the possibility of criminal repercussions.
As for allegations of engaging in inappropriate behavior with a man inside a car, Jang scored the claim 30/100, suggesting this is more likely to result in administrative penalties than criminal charges even if proven.
Attorney Jang also warned that if Park is convicted on multiple counts, the total penalty could be compounded, increasing the likelihood of incarceration. “We cannot rule out the possibility that Park Na Rae may face prison time given the collection of cases,” he said.
In closing, Jang urged Park and her legal team to pursue negotiated settlements where possible and to thoroughly heed legal counsel in order to avoid the most severe outcomes. He noted that ongoing public accusations and escalating tensions make rapprochement increasingly difficult.
