Recently, a video titled “Battle of Fates Ji Seon Doryeong—Did You Really Not Know About Park Na Rae’s Controversy?” was uploaded to the YouTube channel “Yongkun TV Fortune House.”
In the video, Ji Seon Doryeong stated, “I did predict (Park Na Rae’s controversy).”
The production team of the channel added, “To be honest, he made the prediction, but we couldn’t film it. We had already filmed Battle of Fates last year, and he mentioned it both before and after filming. However, since mentioning the MCs could cause issues, we decided not to upload the video.”
They further explained that Ji Seon Doryeong had foreseen that “there would be problems, a lot of rumors, and that her luck didn’t seem good.”
Ji Seon Doryeong shared, “It’s a bit frustrating, but what can I do? I’m also getting criticized. The reason I didn’t speak up is because there are so many skilled shamans out there I didn’t want to present myself as someone superior.”
He continued, “There’s one phrase I dislike the most: ‘I knew it all along.’ Many people claim after something happens that they predicted it. A real shaman should speak before the outcome is known,” adding, “Even my mother says she knows everything. I didn’t stay silent because I didn’t know I chose not to speak.”
He also admitted that concerns over financial penalties played a role. “I was honestly afraid of the penalty fees. Also, since many people involved in the program were going through difficulties, I thought it was right to stay quiet until the broadcast aired,” he explained.
When asked about Park Na Rae’s future, he commented, “She will face one major hurdle ahead. If she overcomes it, things will be fine but whether she can get past it is the question.”
Ji Seon Doryeong also revealed that he had spoken briefly with Park Na Rae during filming. “From what I saw, she wasn’t a bad person. But she tends to overdo things. She crossed a line she shouldn’t have, which led to this situation. Still, I personally liked her,” he said.
Meanwhile, Ji Seon Doryeong gained attention on Battle of Fates, which fully aired on March 4, as a young shaman with 13 years of experience despite being only 18 years old.
Park Na Rae, on the other hand, has been embroiled in multiple controversies since late last year, including allegations of mistreatment of her manager and embezzlement. Two former managers filed lawsuits in December 2025, accusing her of serious charges such as special assault, defamation, and violations of the Information and Communications Network Act. Additional allegations regarding illegal medical procedures have also surfaced.
In response, Park Na Rae has filed a counter-lawsuit against her former managers on charges including attempted extortion and occupational embezzlement, further intensifying the ongoing dispute.
