Park Na Rae has once again found herself at the center of controversy, following explosive allegations made by her former managers. The accusations, which include claims of workplace harassment and being forced to witness alleged sexual activity inside a moving vehicle, have sparked intense debate online and revived past rumors involving actor Sung Hoon.
According to a report by South Korean broadcaster Channel A, Park Na Rae’s former managers filed an official complaint with the labor authorities on December 18. In the filing, they accused the 40-year-old celebrity of repeated workplace abuse during their employment.
One of the most shocking claims detailed in the complaint alleges that Park Na Rae engaged in what was described as “car intimacy” with a male companion in the back seat of a moving vehicle, while the managers were seated in the driver’s and passenger’s seats. The former managers claimed they were forced to witness the entire incident.
The complaint further alleges that Park Na Rae repeatedly kicked the driver’s seat during the incident, nearly causing a traffic accident.
Speculation Over the Male Companion
Following the report, Korean online communities quickly began speculating about the identity of the man allegedly involved. Attention soon turned to actor Sung Hoon, who had previously been linked to Park Na Rae through rumors in 2023.
At the time, a viral online post claimed that Park Na Rae and Sung Hoon were rushed to the emergency room after an alleged sexual encounter resulted in a medical complication. Both parties’ agencies strongly denied the rumors and announced legal action against the spread of false information.
However, the resurfacing of the former managers’ claims has reignited speculation, particularly given Park Na Rae and Sung Hoon’s past on-screen interactions on the popular variety show I Live Alone, where their chemistry once fueled dating rumors.
Additional Allegations and Ongoing Investigation
Beyond the alleged incident in the car, Park Na Rae’s former managers also accused her of financial misconduct. They claimed she listed a former boyfriend as a company employee with a high salary and allegedly diverted 3.3 billion KRW (approximately USD 2.5 million) in company funds to cover a luxury apartment lease deposit for him.
The former managers reportedly submitted related evidence to the police. Authorities are currently investigating the case, and no final conclusions have been announced.
As of now, Park Na Rae has not released a new official statement addressing the latest allegations. With investigations ongoing, public opinion remains sharply divided, and the case continues to draw significant attention across Korean media and online communities.
