The first episode of Park Min Young’s Love and Weather Forecast is already filled with drama.
Forecasting Love and Weather episode 1 opens with the difficulties in the love affairs of both main characters, Ha Kyung (Park Min Young) and Shi Woo (Song Kang). While Ha Kyung was forbidden by her mother to have a relationship with her boyfriend of 10 years, Shi Woo was ignored by her lover, reporter Yoo Jin.
Ha Kyung was confident that hail would happen, resulting in her chief having to stand up to the criticism while the people suffered serious damage because they were not forewarned. Things are even worse when her manager had a heart attack because of this and fainted on the spot. As a result, Ha Kyung had to take care of the press conference and receive questions related to the unusual hailstorm in absence of the boss. This incident made Ha Kyung unable to spend time with her lover.
At the same time, Shi Woo constantly lost points in the eyes of his lover. Reporter Yoo Jin is always busy and feels uncomfortable with a childish, carefree lover. In Yoo Jin’s eyes, Shi Woo is incompetent, but in fact he is the only one who can detect the signal of the hailstorm. However, when he tries to warn Ha Kyung’s team of the coming unusual rain, Shi Woo fails to gain credibility. Seok Ho was the only one who believed Shi Woo and decided to spontaneously report the sudden rain. He also did this because he was previously disappointed in Ha Kyung, who because the probability of hail was too low, did not notify the people, resulting in damage to the people.
Shi Woo’s prediction about rain was correct, Ha Kyung once again made a wrong prediction in her job. And it is also because of this meeting about the unusual rain that Ha Kyung ignores her sister’s phone call about her lover not preparing for the wedding. The most undesirable thing finally came, Ha Kyung saw with her own eyes the scene of her lover making love in bed with another girl. Also on that rainy night, Shi Woo received a breakup proposal from his girlfriend.
The story begins two months later, when Ha Kyung is offered to study abroad for a year. Thinking that life would turn the page, Ha Kyung suddenly has trouble with her ex-boyfriend, who reappears to ask her to split everything the two of them had together.
