According to an exclusive report by MyDaily on January 5, Park Ji Hyun will portray Ahn Ha Nee, a co-pilot working for an airline.
In the drama, Ahn Ha Nee is a woman who only knows how to live life by pushing herself relentlessly, until she meets a man who metaphorically “re-educates” her outlook on life. She is also a character who falls in love at first sight with Song Joong Ki’s character, setting the stage for a heartfelt romance.
Love Cloud tells the story of a former flight instructor and a woman who once trained to become a pilot. Seven years later, they reunite in Jeju Island—a place where love is likened to weather itself—as an air traffic controller and a pilot. The series blends romantic comedy with human drama, unfolding against the picturesque and mystical backdrop of Jeju.

Park Ji Hyun chose Love Cloud after careful consideration, following a surge of offers that came her way after the success of Netflix’s You and Everything Else and her award-winning performance in the film Hidden Face, which earned her the Best Supporting Actress award at the Blue Dragon Film Awards.
Notably, this project reunites Park Ji Hyun and Song Joong Ki for the first time in four years since their collaboration in JTBC’s hit drama Reborn Rich in 2022. In a past interview, Park Ji Hyun shared a lighthearted anecdote, saying she wasn’t sure whether her mother watched the drama because of her or because of Song Joong Ki, adding that she hesitated to ask for his autograph on set out of concern it might disrupt filming.

The drama will be directed by Song Min Yeop, known for Doctor Prisoner and Youth of May, with the script written by Team Madrabbit. The broadcast channel has yet to be announced, and the series is scheduled to air in the second half of the year.
