Park Ji-hu talks about being criticized as “a nuisance character” in “All of Us Are Dead”

Actress Park Ji-hu honestly revealed her thoughts on the character On-jo in Netflix’s original series “All of Us Are Dead”.

On Feb 8th, Park Ji-hu conducted an online video interview with Wikitree to share various stories about Netflix’s original series “All of Us Are Dead“.

All of Us Are Dead“, which was released on Jan 28th, is a series that tells the story of students who were isolated in a school where the zombie virus began to spread and had to stay together to survive while waiting to be rescued. According to Flix Patrol, a global online video service (OTT) ranking site, on the 7th (local time), it ranked first in the Netflix TV show category on Feb 7th (local time). As such, it has been loved for 10 consecutive days since Jan 29th, the day after its release.

About this popularity, Park Ji-hu said, “It’s so amazing that I still can’t believe I appeared in ‘All of Us Are Dead’. Whenever I look at news articles or Instagram, all people talk about is ‘All of Us Are Dead’, so I’m very grateful. I think I’m having incredible days.”

Park Ji-hu played the role of On-jo, a character who goes through many things, from the shock of witnessing friends turn into a zombie to the pain and growth of losing loved ones. However, some viewers expressed their disappointment, saying that “It feels kind of annoying” and “A nuisance character” when they saw the scene where she was rather passive unlike the original.

Regarding this, Park Ji-hu confessed, “I understand your feelings. In fact, I didn’t feel that much while filming. But when I saw the completed scene after filming, I thought other people might feel frustrated.

She also added, “I think there will be various reactions in that situation (full of zombies). On-jo is a teenager and she’s emotional. So if she loses her friends, she may have that kind of reaction.
