Park Han-byul Shows Easygoing Side, “My Husband Helps My Friend With Eating Cheese? I’m Fine With It”

Actress Park Han-byul shared various daily stories with her friends

On November 9th, Park Han-byul uploaded on her YouTube channel a new video titled “Best Friend Special Part 2 (with Sunhwa High School of Arts’s Department of Dance)”.

Meeting her friends after giving birth, Park Han-byul said, “People always ask me about my alcohol tolerance. If ‘cutting off the filming’ is the standard for drinking tolerance, then I’ve never experienced a filming cut off”. She added, “It’s the story from 15-20 years ago”

When her friends said, “Han-byul never pretends to do something”, Park Han-byul explained, “When I said that, articles came out with titles like ‘Park Han-byul doesn’t know her drinking limit’. (It’s like saying I’m a heavy drinker)”.

She continued, “In fact, people commonly think the standard for being a good drinker is the ability to consume a lot of alcohol. But I think drinking well is not about the amount of alcohol but maintaining the tension while drinking. Take a break when you think you might make a mistake and have a drink when you think your energy is low”, adding “That’s how I think a good drinker is”.

A friend then asked, “Imagine your friend is eating cheese and it keeps getting longer, then is it okay if your husband helps your friend cut the cheese?”, bringing up another debate similar to the ‘sesame leaf debate’. Park Han-byul hesitated for a moment and replied, “Yeah, it’s okay”, drawing attention.

She asked back, “What’s wrong?”, adding “I’m completely fine with it. He can just help my friend with the cheese because they cannot do it”. However, her friends gave a different answer, saying, “No. I’ll do it before my husband sees it”.

Meanwhile, Park Han-byul recently resumed activities on YouTube after her four-year hiatus. She married Yoo In-seok, former CEO of Yuri Holdings, in November 2017 and has two sons. She’s currently running a cafe in Jeju.
