On June 4, Park Han Byul shared a short video on her social media account alongside the caption, “I was waiting until the story about becoming a gyaru came out, but I thought the ‘moshi moshi’ trend might pass, so I’m sharing it early.” In the clip, the actress can be seen cheerfully dancing in the middle of a street to a song currently trending online.

What especially surprised viewers was Park Han Byul’s bold gyaru-inspired makeup, which gave her an entirely different appearance from her usual image. She also teased upcoming content by writing, “Please look forward to next week’s ‘Park Han Byul Hana’ and ‘Byuldabang’ content,” raising anticipation among fans.

The post quickly drew enthusiastic reactions from followers. Comments such as “You look so beautiful in gyaru style,” “I thought you were Japanese,” and “I’ve never seen someone pull off gyaru makeup this well” flooded the comment section.

Previously, Park Han Byul stepped away from acting after her husband, former Yuri Holdings CEO Yoo In Suk, became embroiled in the high-profile Burning Sun scandal in 2019. Yoo was later sentenced to one year and eight months in prison, suspended for three years, on charges including arranging prostitution and embezzlement.

Following the controversy, Park relocated to Jeju Island, where she quietly ran a café and stayed away from the spotlight. In 2024, she made her television return after approximately five years through TV Chosun’s reality program With Father and Me, drawing warm responses from viewers.

During the show, Park reflected on the difficult period surrounding 2019, admitting that “every single day felt like hell.” She revealed that advertisements and casting opportunities disappeared overnight, while even strangers came looking for her at home. Explaining why she chose not to divorce despite the hardships, Park emotionally shared, “My children did nothing wrong, and I couldn’t take away our family. As a mother, I made the best decision I could,” eventually breaking down in tears.
