A breast cancer awareness gala hosted by W Korea has sparked backlash for its flashy, party-style atmosphere that many said overshadowed the event’s cause. Amid the criticism, actress Park Eun-bin drew attention for leaving early and candidly sharing her thoughts afterward.
During a live stream from her car, Park Eun-bin said, “I just finished the W event and am rushing home,” adding, “It’s been a long time actually, almost the first time for me to attend something like this. I saw some interesting things.” She laughed nervously, saying, “Everyone seemed to enjoy it. I just caught a bit of the mood and came home.”
The annual Love Your W campaign, marking its 20th anniversary this year, featured appearances from BTS’s RM, V, and J-Hope, as well as top actors like Go Hyun-jung and Lee Young-ae. However, online criticism erupted over revealing outfits, a festive tone, and performances deemed inappropriate for a cancer awareness event.
