Actors Park Eun-bin and Yang Se-jong are officially confirmed to star in tvN’s new drama Spellbound (Ossakhan Yeonae), opening the door to a supernatural romantic story. The drama is an adaptation of the 2011 hit film of the same name.
Park Eun-bin will play Cheon Yeo-ri, a top hotel heiress and CEO. While she appears perfect—beautiful, wealthy, and capable—she harbors a chilling secret: she can see ghosts. Her inner world is shaken by restless spirits that enter her life, with Park Eun-bin’s nuanced acting set to portray the character’s depth and emotional richness.
Yang Se-jong stars as Ma Kang-wook, an ace prosecutor. Kang-wook embodies the ideal traits of a prosecutor—sharp intellect, physical skill, and unwavering sense of justice. Known for his firm adherence to principles and relentless pursuit of truth, he brings a new dimension to Yang Se-jong’s acting.
In the story, Yeo-ri and Kang-wook’s paths cross in seemingly coincidental yet fateful ways. Together, they navigate mysterious encounters, forming an unexpected and unique relationship. The series promises a blend of supernatural suspense and heart-pounding romance as the two characters’ contrasting worlds collide.
The production team teased, “Spellbound is a horror-overcoming romance featuring a fearless woman who sees ghosts and a man thrust into an unexpected world because of her. Yeo-ri’s mystical abilities and Kang-wook’s investigative instincts combine for thrilling moments and catharsis.”
Spellbound is scheduled to premiere in 2026.
