Premiering on July 18, Spooky in Love marks Park Eun Bin‘s first tvN drama in three years following Castaway Diva (2023).
In the series, she plays Cheon Yeo Ri, the heiress to a luxury hotel empire whose life is complicated by her supernatural ability to see ghosts. The fantasy romance is based on the 2011 hit film of the same name, which starred Son Ye Jin and Lee Min Ki and attracted more than three million moviegoers in South Korea.

Joining Park Eun Bin are Yang Se Jong, who plays prosecutor Ma Kang Wook, and Ong Seong Wu, who stars as hotel conglomerate heir Kang Min Hwan.
Park Eun Bin has become known for consistently taking on characters that challenge both herself and audience expectations.
She began her career at the age of three as a child model before transitioning into acting, spending much of her early career portraying the younger versions of leading actresses including Song Hye Kyo, Han Ji Min, Kim Ha Neul, and Song Yoon Ah. After years as a child actress, Park successfully shed her youthful image through a series of standout performances.

Her first major turning point came in JTBC’s Hello, My Twenties! (2016), where she surprised audiences as Song Ji Won, an outspoken and eccentric college student whose personality sharply contrasted with the elegant image Park had previously cultivated.
She continued expanding her range with notable roles including:
- Lee Se Young, the first female operations manager of a professional baseball team in Hot Stove League (2019)
- Aspiring violinist Chae Song Ah in Do You Like Brahms? (2020)
- Crown Prince Lee Hwi in the historical romance The King’s Affection (2021)
Each project further established Park Eun Bin as one of South Korea’s most dependable leading actresses.

Park Eun Bin reached new heights in 2022 with Extraordinary Attorney Woo, portraying rookie lawyer Woo Young Woo, a brilliant attorney on the autism spectrum. The drama became both a domestic and international sensation, with Park’s nuanced performance earning widespread acclaim and the Grand Prize (Daesang) in the television category at the Baeksang Arts Awards.
Rather than repeating similar roles after her biggest success, Park Eun Bin has continued pursuing unconventional characters.

In Castaway Diva (2023), she played aspiring singer Seo Mok Ha, mastering a regional dialect while performing the drama’s soundtrack herself. She then shocked audiences in Disney+’s Hyper Knife (2025), portraying Jung Se Ok, a brilliant neurosurgeon whose descent into violence revealed a chilling psychopathic side.
Only months later, she reunited with Extraordinary Attorney Woo director Yoo In Sik in Netflix’s The Wonder Fools, playing Eun Chae Ni, a quirky young woman who can teleport whenever her heart races. Now, with Spooky in Love, Park Eun Bin adds another unique role to her growing list of memorable characters.

Having debuted in 1996, Park Eun Bin celebrates her 30th anniversary in the entertainment industry this year. At just 33 years old, she has already accumulated an impressive list of achievements, including one of Korea’s highest acting honors. Yet what continues to distinguish her career is not just her awards but her willingness to take creative risks.
Whether portraying a lawyer, musician, doctor, superhero, or now a ghost-seeing heiress, Park has consistently proven why she is regarded as one of Korean television’s true “character masters.”
With Spooky in Love set to premiere, audiences are once again eager to see what new side of Park Eun Bin she will reveal.
