On May 15, Netflix Korea uploaded a new YouTube video titled “[Hong.Geon.Dae] Eun Bin, Do You Really Die in Episode 1? | We Came to Promote ‘The WONDERFools’”. In the clip, Park Eun Bin appeared as a guest and shared behind-the-scenes stories about her acting career and latest projects.

Looking back on her role as Woo Young Woo, the autistic lawyer from Extraordinary Attorney Woo, Park Eun Bin confessed with a laugh, “I think my brain got worse after memorizing so many lines back then.”

She continued, “The positive thing afterward was that I started thinking, ‘This amount of dialogue? I can memorize it.’” However, she admitted that the filming process pushed her limits.

“I’m usually not the type to make many NGs, but while filming ‘*Woo Young Woo,’ I had to constantly lower my own expectations. There were just too many lines, so even when I made mistakes, I’d think, ‘Well, that’s understandable,’”* she shared honestly.

Park Eun Bin also revealed the overwhelming amount of dialogue packed into each scene.

“There were many scenes with 15 to 20 pages of dialogue alone,” she said. “I started the project only two weeks after finishing The King’s Affection, so I barely had any preparation time.”

The actress explained that she lived “day by day” during filming.

“It would’ve been nice to memorize things in advance, but I didn’t even have that luxury. I lived like a mayfly, memorizing only the next day’s script,” she recalled. “Every day, I received about six to seven A4 pages worth of dialogue. I approached the project with an enormous sense of responsibility.”

Extraordinary Attorney Woo

Her sincere comments highlighted just how demanding Extraordinary Attorney Woo was behind the scenes, despite the drama’s massive global success.

Meanwhile, Park Eun Bin’s new Netflix series The WONDERFools premiered on May 15. Set in 1999 during the end of the millennium era, the superhero comedy adventure follows a group of ordinary neighborhood outcasts who accidentally gain superpowers and fight villains threatening the peace. The series has already attracted attention for reuniting Park Eun Bin with director Yoo In Shik, who previously worked with her on Extraordinary Attorney Woo.
