Park Bo-young Talks About Writing Daily Diaries, “I Keep It In A Safe And Will Never Disclose It”

Actress Park Bo-young revealed how she secure her daily diaries

Park Bo-young appeared in the new “Salon Drip 2” video uploaded on the YouTube channel “TEO” on October 7th. Together with actress Lee Jung-eun, Park Bo-young has started the promotion for Netflix’s original series “Daily Dose of Sunshine”.

In the video, Park Bo-young mentioned her habit of writing a diary every day. She shared, “The diary is like a trash bin of emotions. I clean it up every day. When I’m tired, I pour out all the feelings I feel throughout the day before taking a shower and going to bed. When I’m in a good mood, I’ll write something beautiful and nice”. She added, “It’s very interesting to look back on the diaries. When I read my past diaries, I can remember the events very vividly”.

In particular, the actress firmly said she could never disclose her diary. Park Bo-young said, “You should never reveal your diary to anyone. I even bought a safe and keep all my diaries inside”, adding, “I told my close friend that they must come to my house and burn all my diaries first if an unfortunate accident happened to me”, drawing laughter.

Previously, Park Bo-young also mentioned her diary on the broadcast of tvN’s “You Quiz on the Block” in April last year.

When asked why she keeps a daily diary, Park Bo-young explained, “The first reason why I keep a diary every is for interviews after the end of a drama or the premiere of a movie. Reporters often ask for stories during the filming of the projects. As they asked for new stories every time, I began recording everything that happened during the shoots. I write diaries because I want to do well in the interviews”

She continued, “I think the diary has become like a hit list for me. There are many self-reflection questions in there”, adding “Since I write about all the happy and sad events in the diary every day, I keep it in a safe because I think it would be a big problem if a thief steal the diary and reveal it.”

The actress added, “I burned all the diaries I wrote before 2014. I didn’t have a safe back then. I thought my mom would be very upset if she read them.”
