Despite both being over 30 years old, these two actors look so young, they perfectly play high school students
Amidst various hectic series currently airing, “Daily Dose of Sunshine” is a rare healing K-drama, which takes place in a large psychiatric hospital. Through the series, stories of mental health are directly addressed, and viewers can genuinely empathize with the struggles of patients, as well as the growth and efforts of the medical staff.
In “Daily Dose of Sunshine”, Park Bo-young assumes the role of female lead Jung Da-eun, a nurse who recently transfers to the Psychiatry department at Myungshin University Hospital. It’s her first time working in this new field, which leads to many difficulties and awkward moments. In fact, there are times of despair, where Da-eun can’t seem to save her patients from their desperate situations. However, thanks to the guidance of Senior Nurse Song Hyo-shin and Doctor Dong Go-geun, Da-eun matures day by day. Through her work, she reconnects with Song Yu-chan (played by Jang Dong-yoon), a childhood friend.
Alongside scenes set in the present day, viewers also see some flashback moments when Da-eun and Yu-chan grew up together, going through carefree high school days. As a result, the adorable appearances of Park Bo-young and Jang Dong-yoon as high school students has been causing quite the stir.
It is known that actress Park Bo-young is currently 33 years old, while Jang Dong-yoon is 31. However, the two are so youthful, their appearances defy their ages, making them look perfect in high school uniforms. To achieve this youthful appearance, both actors made slight changes to their hairstyles, taking them back 10 years with bangs.
