Park Bo-ram’s Autopsy To Be Conducted On Apr 15th, ‘Friend’ Kim Greem Frustrated At Fake News Spread
Amid the bewilderment due to Park Bo-ram’s sudden passing, the police disclosed autopsy schedule and funeral plan
On April 13th, a police official said to OSEN, “An autopsy on Park Bo-ram will be carried out on the morning of the 15th”.
According to the police, Park Bo-ram was found collapsing in the bathroom at 9:55 p.m. on the 11th while gathering with two female friends at a friend’s residence. Noticing that Park Bo-ram did not come out of the bathroom after a long time, the friends went to check and found the female actress in an unconscious state.
The friends called 119 and took Park Bo-ram to Guri Hospital of Hanyang University. However, the female singer could not regain consciousness and was confirmed dead at 11 p.m. on the same day.
During the investigation, police found no evidence or suspicion of murder. However, the exact cause of her death is still unclear. After asking for consent from the bereaved family, they requested an autopsy on Park Bo-ram from the National Forensic Service.
In this regard, the police explained, “At the request of the bereaved family, Park Bo-ram’s autopsy was supposed to take place as soon as possible today (April 13th), however, it has been postponed due to the schedule of the National Forensic Service. Although we expect the autopsy to be performed on the 15th, there is still a possibility of a change in the schedule. The result of the autopsy will be announced later and a funeral will be held after the autopsy”.
As fake news and speculations about the death of Park Bo-ram are spreading widely on the Internet, singer Kim Greem said on SNS, “What can I do to stop YouTubers from creating fake news with provocative thumbnails and titles using AI voices? Those people are shamelessly exploiting other people to make money. They even spread false claims that I was investigated by the police. I just exploded with anger after receiving the links from acquaintances. Don’t cross the line. You’ll be punished by God”.
In the meantime, Park Bo-ram’s agency is carefully coordinating their position. Expressing regrets via OSEN, the agency said, “Everyone is being cautious in this huge sorrow. We will inform you of the autopsy result and make an announcement when the funeral can be held. It will take some time. Please wait for our notice.”
Park Bo-ram made her face known to the public through Mnet’s audition program “Superstar K2” in 2010. Later she debuted with the single “Beautiful” in 2014 and gained huge love for singing many popular drama OSTs, such as “Reply 1988” OST “Hyehwadong”. Celebrating her 10th debut anniversary, Park Bo-ram released a duet song with Huh Gak in February. It is known that the female singer was preparing to make a comeback with a full album before suddenly passing away.
