Park Bo-gum Showed Off Singing Skills As IU’s Special Guest Singer For Concert In Seoul

Singer IU and actor Park Bo-gum showed off their special friendship.

The last concert night of “2024 IU H.E.R. World Tour Concert” at KSPO DOME in Songpa-gu, Seoul was held at 5 p.m. on March 10th (KST). After the second part of the concert, IU introduced the special guest singer, “He is the last guest of the Seoul concerts. He is not a singer, but sings as well as a singer. He is really handsome even on screen, but you will be surprised when you see him in person. I introduce my wonderful and grateful friend.”

Park Bo-gum later appeared on the stage. When Park Bo-gum’s face was shown on the screen, the audience cheered. “It must have been hard to come as a guest singer despite not being a singer, but I wanted to say thank you for coming like this. He is a friend that I really like. I wanted to directly introduce my best friend, so I didn’t leave the stage.”

“I’m embarrassed, but I hope you enjoy today as it’s UAENA’s day,” Park then said. Afterwards, Park performed “Not Spring, Love or Cherry Blossoms,” originally sung by the group High4 and IU, showing off his great singing ability. The audience sang along IU’s part and made Park smile.

After finishing the first song, Park Bo-gum said, “I came to support IU’s last concert in Seoul, the starting point and beginning of IU,” explaining why he appeared as a guest.

“When I watched IU prepare for the world tour while we were filming the drama “When Life Gives You Tangerines” together last year, I thought she was a great, cool, diligent friend. I am also grateful to have met such a friend,” he said, expressing his affection for IU.

Park Bo-gum said, “When I looked at the setlist for this concert, I felt that each part had its own meaning. It is said that the next performance will be romantic and lovely. It went with the flow. As everyone is here for this moment, I hope it will be a happy moment, and I hope it will be a sparkling day.” He then sang Jukjae’s “Let’s Go See the Stars.”

Afterwards, IU appeared on the stage again, thanking Park for coming.
